Collaborative Proposal Development

EHPR invites interactive collaborations on the scientific development of grant proposals. Potential collaborations are reviewed and evaluated individually and are separate from the fee-based consultations available through the Data Core. Faculty members in the Department of EHPR conduct primary research in the areas of biostatistics, epidemiology, health outcomes research (economics, quality of life, clinical outcomes), and health care financial reimbursement. In addition, the Department serves as an interdisciplinary resource for clinical and basic research throughout the HSC and University.

As part of the process for proposal development, faculty and professional staff work with the PI on the scientific and the technical aspects of the proposal. Involvement of EHPR faculty (biostatistician, economist, epidemiologist, and/or health services/outcomes researcher) and professional staff (computing and database management team) early in the proposal development process will often improve the quality of the project and can save considerable time and money during the analysis phase. Assistance in developing the technical aspect of the proposal is available through the Research Data Coordinating Center.

Please visit the Clinical and Translational Research Informatics Program page to learn more about research and data services available through the department.

If you are already participating in a collaboration project and have joined the CTRIP Collaboration Portal, please visit https://collab.ctrip.ufl.edu/ to login. If you do not have an account, pleaes request one from the workgroup/project coordinator.
